Weekend Budtender – Dank’s Warehouse Renton

Dank’s is expanding! We’re excited to open our newest location in Renton, and we’re looking for enthusiastic and motivated Budtenders to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of something from the ground up—ideal candidates are not only passionate about cannabis but also eager to help launch and grow our new store. As a Budtender, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, guiding guests to the right products for their needs, and ensuring a positive, compliant, and knowledgeable dispensary experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Provide detailed information about various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with product selections and transactions.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash register duties and cash handling with accuracy.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about usage, effects, and benefits of different cannabis products.
• Maintain an organized and clean sales floor, ensuring all products are displayed attractively.
• Supervise junior staff members when necessary, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism and provide accurate information regarding products and services.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
• Strong basic math skills to facilitate transactions and inventory management.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
• Ability to effectively sell products while understanding customer needs.
• Knowledge of cannabis products is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Must be at least 21 years of age as per state regulations.
